Acoustic Alchemy
Best Kept Secret
The Story
Acoustic Alchemy has captured the hearts and minds of contemporary jazz aficionados with their ever-changing rhythms, beautiful melodies, and state-of-the-art production. Anyone who has had the pleasure of seeing the band perform live knows that they retain the quality of their studio work on stage but add to it a wonderful sense of passion and excitement that thrills their audiences each and every night.
"Best Kept Secret", originally released in 1998, captures the excitement of a live studio performance and features the full line-up with the London Metropolitan Orchestra. The tracks include all time favorites and material specially rearranged for this unique filming on the James Bond stage at Pinewood Studios in England. Distinguished film producer Audrey Powell also captures the band in conversation about their music and influences and follows them "documentary style" on a tour of the United States.
"Best Kept Secret" is an altogether fascinating insight into this marvelous band.
