The Story
Andy Timmons, former member of the million selling eighties pop-metal act Danger Danger, releasest the follow up to 2002's release "That Was Then, This Is Now", entitled "Resolution". Timmons, alongside bassist Mike Daane and drummer Mitch Marine round out the band lineup. Recorded in Dallas, "Resolution" was co-produced by both Timmons and Daane. "This is the first real official Andy Timmons Band release," asserts Timmons. "Resolution" launches without delay, the opening track, "Deliver Us", is an instant assault of energy and rhythm, while the diversity and contrast in Timmons' ability as both guitarist and songwriter is no more evident than on "Gone", a jazz influenced track that lowers the volume and calms the mood perfectly. What truly shines through on each track is the confident sound of a telented artist given the freedom to explore with no restrictions.
