Instrumental CD Featuring Ultra Tasty Solos

The full-length CD entitled Watch The Sky features a shimmering collection of eight original contemporary fusion compositions which showcase guitarist Bill Hart's twenty-five years of playing experience. Currently the head of the Guitar Department at the Atlanta Institute of Music, Hart is an ultra-tasty soloist, turning up the juice when required while demonstrating a mastery of 'playing the rests'. Watch The Sky strengths include Hart's imaginative arrangements, the saxophone work of Sam Skelton, the clean, crisp production by Randy Hoexter (who also contributes various piano parts) and of course, the flawless rhythm and soaring lead guitar work. An excellent debut solo recording by one of Atlanta's finest musicians.

Canadian born and raised Bill Hart started out listening and playing blues. At 13, he moved to the United States, developed a deep interest in music and went on to pursue music studies at Jacksonville University. Bill later attended the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, graduating with honors. He later accepted a position as a guitar instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Bill recently wrote a book on chord melody for Hal Leonard entitled "Solo Jazz Guitar--The Complete Chord Melody Method". He is the guitarist for the recording group "Liquid Blue", whose second CD features special guests such as Dave Weckl, Kurt Covington, Shane Theriot, Jimmy Herring and Victor Wooten. Bill has also played on several recording sessions for producers such as Randy Hoexter, Huston Singletary and Tom Kidd.
