The Story
"We want even more shred, we want even more shred. we want even more shred..." Well, perhaps some of the Buckethead faithful were muttering that mantra to themselves after last week's Buckethead release "Enter The Chicken". Enter "Kaleidoscalp", an equally creative (albeit in a totally different way), all instrumental (G9 kudos!) slab of shredded terror, some might say, Buckethead's scariest ever. Buckethead is one of the most amazing and original guitarists on the planet. A constant collaborator of Bill Laswell and a veteran of Guns N' Roses, Buckethead is a rock star, a cult hero, a cartoon character, a guitar virtuoso and here he presents us with a new and extreme vision of rock music. Simultaneously intense, hilarious, complex and primitive, this is music perfectly suited to the Tzadik Lunatic Fringe Series. You have never heard such sounds in your life. Check it out.
