While that impact is often discussed in the context of the public school system, its benefits reach much further than simply an improved or more well-rounded high school experience. Moreover, music education isn't limited to just the public sector. For-profit, private sector music education is having a bigger impact on our society than ever before, due largely in part to technological advances that have made online music education readily accessible.
We've built this graphic to show the benefits of music education, how it is growing in the public and private sector, and how it impacts the lives of students in ways other than simply making them more musical.
