Los Romeros
Guitar Festival
The Story
"Guitar Festival" is an interesting mix of classical music by Vivaldi, Bach, Scarlatti and Telemann, arranged for guitar, and flamenco music, represented by the last six tracks. Los Romeros handle the guitar duties, including Pepe, Angel, Celin and Celedonio Romero, while guests such as violinist John Corigliano and cellist Margaret Bella appear of Vivaldi's "Concerto In A, RV 82". The classical pieces were recorded from 1965 and 1968, while the flamenco pieces were recorded in 1963.
