August's guest columnists bring new ideas, creatively packaged old ideas, and experience to the table, and cover topics on the music business, technique, and songwriting. We've got nine fresh articles altogether - eight returning columnists and one first time contributor. Canadian guitarist David Martone is back with another in his series entitled "Zone Recording: NGW Summer Tour". Mike Philippov helps the techincal guitarists out there with his column "Common Problems With Learning Sweep Picking". Neo-classical guitarist Tom Hess contributes his column entitled "Songwriting, Part 3". Scott Allen takes a break from guitar technique columns with his article "Original Sin". Guitarist Kole serves up the next part of his series, "The Art Of Pre-Composition, Part 2". Michael Knight is back after a long absence with "Mind Games". Guitarist Randy Ellefson returns with his column entitled "How To Re-Amp". First time contributor Ioannis Anastassakis has written a new column entitled Intermediate/Advanced Hybrid Picking". Finally, indie marketing and promotions expert Tim Sweeney returns with "Music Artists Working Together".
