Ozric Tentacles
Pyramidion
The Story
"Pyramidion" is the Ozric's post "Hidden Step" CD featuring one studio track (the title track) and four live tracks recorded at the Sheffield Boardwalk on the band's Hidden Step Tour 2000. Guitarist Ed Wynne once again sets the tone for the album, burning his licks over the Egyptian themed material. The new, title track is a brand new composition, taking its name from the mystical "Pyramidion", the capstone on the Great Pyramid which symbolised the meeting of the spiritual world with the physical for the ancient Egyptians. The live tracks succinctly capture the very essence of the Ozric Tentacles live experience.
