Racer X
Street Lethal
The Story
Take it from the man himself, Mr. Paul Gilbert, "I love "Street Lethal"! It's my first official full-length recording, and to this day it rocks seriously hard. The first song is a guitar solo, and every song afterwards might as well be! Except that Jeff Martin performed the impossible by finding all the right holes to sing in and pushed the intensity up a few more notches. We recorded and mixed this album in ten days. We had done so much rehearsing that it actually worked! If you bought this record back when it came out, thank you! It was the start of my job as a rock and roller, and the success of this CD was extremely encouraging. If you get it now, thanks for checking out my fiery beginnings, and crank it up!" "Street Lethal" also features the instrumental "Y.R.O."
