Son Seals/Howard & Wt Boys
Chicago Blues Jam
The Story
Buddy Guy's Legends has become as celebrated as its namesake for providing the highest quality blues talent to be seen anywhere. From the Monday jam sessions to the constant flow of world-class talent on weekends, Legends is a required stop for soul-stirring blues and barbeque. "Chicago Blues Jam" brings you a slice of this legendary stage, with interviews and commentary by Buzz Kilman.
Born hearing blues in his father's juke joint, Son Seals was hailed as a bright hope for the blues when his debut album hit stores in 1973. He hasn't stopped since, performing extensively through Europe as well as North America. You're sure to enjoy this performance captured at Legends by the original "Bad Axe."
A young band that started jamming together in 1988, Howard & The White Boys has enjoyed substantial success through regular appearances at Legends, as well as being the opening band for Buddy Guy on tour. Enjoy this rare early footage of them performing at Legends.
