The Story
The 1992 offering from this amazing guitar duo is entitled "Americas", a CD which conjures images with music -- you'll be transported to lush tropical locales, beautiful remote islands and Amazonian rainforests. Rated by many Strunz and Farah fans as one of the group's best efforts, "Americas" once again features a number of top-notch musicians from around the world, including percussionist Juanito "Long John" Oliva and bassist Guillermo Guzman. Blazing intensity and passion are the watchwords as the pair deliver guitar music for an ever-widening audience. "Americas" earned the duo a Grammy nomination in 1992 in the World Music category.
