Strunz/Farah
Fantaseo
The Story
"Fantaseo" is the title of the 2006 original release from acoustic guitar masters Strunz and Farah. Backed by an excellent international ensemble (including violin, bass, Latin and Middle Eastern percussion, Armenian Shvi) Strunz and Farah feature their original compositions and virtuosic playing. Renowned jazz flutist Hubert Laws joins Strunz and Farah on one piece. "Fantaseo" is a musical journey through folk and urbane Latin America, as well as an evocation of rustic Iran and an appreciative nod to American Jazz underpinned with Strunz and Farah's intrinsic ethnic touch.
