The Story
Exclusively devoted to Uli's early Electric Sun period (1978 to 1983), "Historic Performances Voumnes I & II" is a 2 hour plus DVD containing previously unreleased promotional videos followed by various concert performances from that time. The footage was selected from Uli Jon Roth's personal archives and has been made available to the public for the first time. Highlights include the 1979 Electric Sun Amsterdam studio appearances, featuring four songs from the Earthquake album, excerpts from the legendary Newcastle City Hall concert in 1983 and much more. Musicians include Ule W. Ritgen (bass, backing vocals), Sidhatta Guatama (drums), Clive Bunker (drums), Simon Fox (drums, percussion), David Lennox (keyboards), Jenni Evans (vocals), Dorothy Patterson (vocals) and of course, Uli Jon Roth (guitar, vocals).
