I do a lot of composing and recording through my studio. In 2005 I'll be breaking ground on a dedicated studio building with high-grade soundproofing.
Having Fun! That's what counts!!! Also upgrading to Sonar 4.0 mainly because we can port the data to Pro Tools in case someone wants to go to a studio that has that stuff.
We have the possibility of renting lots of additional equipment, guitar head y cabinets, pedals, fx, different guitars, basses, synths, drums, etc.

Kicking sound, easy and quick for writing and recording.
I'm equipped to record a full band, but I'm working in a cramped space so its hard to get drums done right. I can however move my equipment around and record drums elsewhere.
I am primarily an accoustic singer/songwriter - have recorded with the contemporary folk trio Night Whale, but am now concentrating on writing and recording Christian music.
I believe that it's not what you've got, but how you use it. Hence all the free plug-ins.
