Future plans/projects

Recently finished my 5th CD...You can see pics and a 360 degree view of my studio on my website. Actually just recorded a live CD with an audience in my studio.

Guitars

1954 Strat, 1965 Strat, 1956 Gold Top Les Paul,1955 Gibson Les Paul Jr., 1967 Fender Custom Tele, 1969 Gibson ES175, Jim Tyler Strat, Taylor acoustics.

Keyboards

Roland D600 Digital Piano, Baldwin Grand Piano

Percussion

Mapex drum kit, Boss Dr-770, bust mostly use loops and live drums...actually it is basically never used now.

Effects

(2) Universal Audio 6176 Mic pre's, Langevin Dual Vocal Combo Mic pre, (2)Avalon Mic Pre's, Berringer Mic Pre's, ART Mic Pre's, Eventide H3000s, Lexicon PCM-70, TC 2290, Alesis 3630, Yamaha SPX-50D, Alesis midiverb and other things I can't think of at the moment.

Microphones

Neumans, Blue Dragonfly and Mouse, Sennheiser 421s, Marshall Mics, Shure KSM32's, SM 57's and 58's, AKG drum mics, rode NT-1, AT mics

Mixing

Fostex 1240 (currently not being used), and a few Samson mix pads used for drum submixes...I mix from the Pro Tools edit window

Tape decks

Fostex R-8 (currently not being used).

Hard disk recorders

Roland VS1680...it's never used now. Wanna buy it? Hahahaha.

Monitoring

Quested VS2205's, JBL LSP25 powered speakers, Yamaha NS-10M speakers, carvin power amp.

Computer

MAC G4 w/28 gig HD and 512 MB Ram, (2)Glyph Hot Swap dual 9 gig HD rack mount. (2) Lacie 120 GB fire-wire HD, Sony 21" monitor. I also used a Mac G4 Power Book equipped w/Pro Tools for editing drums in the house and/or when away from the studio.

Music software

Pro Tools HD, Lots of effects. (Digidesign, Mc DSP, DUY, Bomb Factory, etc)

Additional equipment

(2) 1963 Voc AC30s, 1965 Vox AC30, Vox AC30 reissue, Gibson GA20 amp, Gibson GA25 amp, (2) Gibson GA30 amps, Gibson GA40 amp, Custon Audio pre amp, Soldano Pre amp, Various Marshall heads and cabs, VHT 2150 power amp and 1x2 cabs, various guitars and basses, Gibson mandolin, a comfortable sofa.

Additional notes

Record, record, record!! There are a thousand ways to play the "right thing", and a million ways to play the "wrong thing". Re-work song/parts until they are right.
