Yngwie J. Malmsteen
Double Live
The Story
"Double Live" is the domestic reissue of Yngwie J. Malmsteen's live album, in which the guitarist and band (including vocalist Mats Leven) are captured live in Brazil in May of 2000. Fifteen tracks, over one and a half hours of music, include songs such as "Resurrection", "Bedroom Eyes" and his instrumental signature piece "Black Star". The band concentrates on high energy pieces, and Malmsteen is at his best here, ripping solo after brilliant solo over old and new favorites. The live version of "Far Beyond The Sun" has to be heard to be believed.
