Pat Travers
Blues Tracks
The Story
Legendary guitarist Pat Traver's "Blues Tracks" is a potent collection of classy tunes originally recorded by legends such as Willie Dixon, Ray Charles, and Johnny Winter. From super shuffles to slow blues, all are set apart from others by Traver's gutsy approach. Guesting on "Statesboro Blues" is the fret wizard Michael Lee Firkins, while Little John Chrisley adds a mean harmonica solo to "I Can't Quit You " and "Mystery Train". "Blues Tracks" - the first of a long string of muscular blues releases by Travers, who puts his flair and flavor to these great songs.
