The Story
A follow up to the surprisingly successful "Ho! Ho! Hoey", "Ho! Ho! Hoey II" is Gary Hoey's second holiday instrumental guitar record, featuring eleven more Christmas chestnuts. This album was recorded in the middle of July in 100 degree weather in Southern California. Hoey recalls, "It was tough to muster up the Christmas spirit of the North Pole in the middle of summer!" Pull out "Ho! Ho! Hoey II" instead of those Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton duets any day in the Christmas season, but don't wait until December to check out the hard rockin' wah wah workout "Deck The Halls" or the sinister "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch".
